Fresh off of her first year at the University of Delaware, Martina took the offer of becoming the Marketing Associate and newsletter editor for Sandra Erbe without a second thought. Her mom works at Keller Williams Realty in Bethany, so she’s had a connection to the company for a few years. After being sent home from campus in early March due to COVID-19 and getting the news that this upcoming spring semester will be completely online, the opportunity to work from home could not come at a better time.
Martina is an English major at UD and has been interested in writing since elementary school. Her preferred style is fiction writing, but she’s written for a number of online publications and is currently a writer and editor for UD’s branch of Her Campus, a female-led online magazine.
She has lived in Delaware her whole life and currently resides in Ocean View with her parents, younger sister, three cats, and two dogs. In her free time, Martina enjoys reading, journaling, photography, and creating playlists on Spotify. She is passionate about many social and political issues and makes sure to always keep tabs on what’s going on in the world.
In the future, Martina hopes to graduate from UD with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a possible minor in Journalism. For now, she’s focused on making the Dean’s List for another semester and getting the most out of every class she attends, in-person or otherwise.
