Are you looking for something fun to do with your whole family this weekend? Head to the Fire and Ice Festival in Delaware for a one-of-a-kind experience that kids and adults of all ages will absolutely love.
For the third year in a row, Bethany Beach is hosting its award-winning Fire and Ice festival. The coolest winter festival in Delaware kicks off on January 24, 2020, and runs all weekend long.
This year’s theme is “Out of This World,” and it’s expanded beyond Bethany! Bethany Beach, Ocean View, and Millville are all participating, so visit each town to see ice carvings that are sure to impress.
Dozens of community-sponsored ice sculptures line the streets and boardwalks of Delaware’s quiet resort towns.
The sea-themed ice sculptures are absolutely amazing. Some of the most talented artists show off with their carvings.
Don’t miss the live ice-sculpting demonstrations. Impressive carvers demonstrate their skills live to crowds of curious onlookers. It’s a must-see.
Stop in at local shops and restaurants to enjoy the charm of Bethany Beach in the off-season. The whole town gets into the winter spirit!
Stroll the boardwalk to see some of the most interesting sculptures. It’s fun to see a beach town come alive in the wintertime.
Kids will love the impressive ice sculptures that seem to come to life under specialty lighting!
Be sure to check out the skating rink! Rent skates and spend some time on the (artificial) ice perfecting your twirls, spins, and other ice moves.
Though it may be the chilliest weekend you’ll spend at the beach this year, the Fire and Ice Festival in Delaware is sure to be fun for your whole family.
